The Devil’s Doorway by Kalila Smith is another of my favorite in the collection about a homeless mother and her four children who meet a stranger named Hector. Viscarra was another really good story, about a woman on a road trip that had a nightmare dripping with blood.īarred For Life by Louise Myers was a really well written western story, I thought it was going to go one way and it went another.

The Devil’s Stone by Melodie Romeo I liked that it was about another time past and that they explained that this stone was out for blood, overall it was really well written.Īnd There was Nothing Left but Ash by Miquel L. The Blackberry Man by Diane Ward was a good story but not my favorite in the collection. The Misconception about Demons by Phillip Drayer Duncan is a fun story about a man being chased by a demon and a psychopath with a gun seeking help from three experts, the ending was unexpected and I enjoyed it. Sorry Charlie by Angela Dalton Lucius is a well written story that’s based on a true story, I really enjoyed the story about a nurse and her “schizophrenic” patient Ann and her demon Charlie. The atmosphere was spooky and tense and I wanted more of the story. Bush is another of my favorites, it involves four friends and supposed haunted place and Halloween. Raymer is one of my favorites in the collection, it’s about a girl who questions her faith and joins a coven with sinister intentions for her, the characters are interesting and the ending was great I didn’t see that comingĭead End, C.G. I thought it was a great story that was fun and entertaining. It was really well written.ĭediless by Linda DeLeon, was a fun story about a man who makes a deal with the devil then tries to get out of it. It was a little too short for me to fully enjoy.īattle For Vicksburg by Della West, I really enjoyed this story, I liked the story of a bystander watching an age old battle against the humans vs a demon.
